Wonderful quote. Earlier this year, I tried a phrase on a co-worker: "biblical ambiguity." I suppose it was my attempt to express what seems to me the bible's theology vs. humans reading the bible theology... Ambiguity and sanity go hand in hand... that is... most people who are absolutely certain about things are also as nutty as fruitcakes.
