Favorite Christmas Passage

Revelation 12 should be read more at Christmas. Iit places the Christmas story at the center of the cosmic battle between good and evil. It's a wonderful antidote to Christmas cuteness.

What a joy to read words that shout to me "He gets it!" Western Christianity seperates the birth and death of Christ as events and as liturgy. Christians in the Middle East did not do that until recently. Christ's appearence on Earth - His birth, death, ressurection and ascension - must be viewed as a single event lasting 33 years in order to clearly see the beauty of God's plan.
