Native Comments

I've turned on the native blogger comments. Not sure when blogger got comments, but there are days where haloscan is just so slow... Course they lasted longer than any of the other commenting systems I tried. So leave a comment and tell me what you think.

It's nice to be able to see the post above the comments, but it's odd to click into a totally different full-screen interface (this beige/white blogger screen) to enter your comment. (I use reblogger and it lets you match your comment box to your template.)

Other down sides are, all your old comments do disappear (right?) and there doesn't seem to be a place to enter your URL if you have one (or was that a style choice you made?)

They added the comments on Mother's Day I believe. I'm not fond of the implementation of the comments or having to sign in. It looks they are trying to do a TypeKey like thing that MovableType is starting.

But they work.

Having you sign in to your blogger account is a bit odd. (I suppose my account is still active, but I can't recall the password right off.)
