Last Day of Summer, First Frost?

From Environment Canada:

city of Calgary
6:32 PM MDT Monday 20 September 2004

Frost warning for
city of Calgary continued

Frost is likely over most of southern Alberta tonight.

A ridge of high pressure will bring clearing skies and light winds to southern Alberta tonight. This will allow temperatures to drop to near or slightly below zero giving frost to many areas.

Calgary weather is just about as close to random as you can get.

You didn't include the fact that it's still supposed to hit 18 Celcius tomorrow.

Believe it or not, some of us here in Minnesota are praying for the first frost to relieve allergies--not only for us, but for our German sheperd mix, Raven, who's been scratching and itching for weeks, despite 2 trips to the vet and medications and ointments.

Of course, we'd welcome an Indian summer... (is it PC to say that????)
