Blokus as a party game

Intense
"Blokus is an abstract strategy board game for two to four players" - Wikipedia. Played it last night with eight players, two players per colour with no table talk allowed. It got quite intense and was quite the hit. We played two rounds.

    Dude, love the Blokus pic. Sandi and I play it together (our kids are too young and asleep) with two colours each at the same time...

    Have you ever played a game by the same makers called Abalone? A personal favorite of mine...

    Kim and I have played that way, it's cool but not near as intense as 8 players turned out to be.
