Since questions have generated a lot of food for thought over the past weeks on this blog, I have a question for married Christians...

Aside from Roman Catholics, do any Christian couples ever question the common view that using contraception is essential for a marriage in todays world? I once read a joke saying that NFP stands for Not For Protestants rather than Natural Family Planning. I know I met a evangelical christian couple in Vancouver who didnt seem all that keen on contraception and was wondering if they were the exception rather than the rule.

Not interested in starting a flamewar but am interested in hearing peoples views in the comments.
